Thanks. When I checked yesterday morning the Amazon.ca wasn’t listed. That’s why I went to Hip-O and was shocked to see the shipping price.

Sometimes Amazon, or Amazon Marketplace, offers a better price than Hip-O, sometimes Hip-O offers a far better price. You have to check all options. I ordered a Marvelletes Set No 1 on Hip-O for $39 (new), while Amazon’s lowest price was $66 (used) and over $100 new.

The Amazon.ca pre-order price is $18.19. Add another $7 and shipping is free. Hip O’s shipping prices are crazy but they use UPS and the package arrives within two days. At least that has been my experience.

Just tried to order the David Ruffin CD. The price of the CD was 16.98 and shipping was !!!24.98!!! I have never seen shipping so high! I do live in Canada (not rural) but that seems excessive.

I think it’s crazy to have deleted the few surviving alternate takes of Clifford with singers (e.g., with Sarah Vaughan) from this set. There is PLENTY of room on these CDs
