Alt-rock heroes Garbage are going "20 Years Queer" with a multi-tiered reissue of their 1995 debut album and an accompanying tour.

Formed by Scottish vocalist Shirley Manson, guitarists Steve Marker and Duke Erikson and drummer Butch Vig (the latter also a producer best known for Nirvana's Nevermind), Garbage fused grunge, industrial and electronic influences for a sound that stood out on mid-'90s radio. Manson's distinctive vocals propelled "Only Happy When It Rains," "Queer" and "Stupid Girl" towards the top of the U.S. modern rock charts as well as the U.K. charts proper. The quartet continued to kick ass through the '90s and '00s--even recording a James Bond tune for 1999's The World is Not Enough--but took an indefinite hiatus in 2005 that ended with the album Not Your Kind of People in 2012.

In celebration of their breakthrough self-titled debut, Garbage will be released in a variety of formats:

• Physical releases include a 2CD expanded edition featuring nine "G-sides" from various singles, and two vinyl formats: a 2LP straight reissue of the original album and a 3LP 180-gram vinyl box including the G-sides and an exclusive fan zine.
• Digital versions of the standard and expanded albums will be available, along with a digital super deluxe edition that adds more than 40 additional tracks, including a trove of remixes and 12 unreleased tracks
