As The Doobie Brothers gear up for their North American summer tour with co-headliners Santana, Rhino is looking back to a recent concert for a new release.  In November 2018, the Doobies, led by Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons, and John McFee, returned to New York City's historic Beacon Theatre for the first time in 25 years to perform two of the band's greatest albums, Toulouse Street and The Captain and Me. Both audio and video of that special performance are now set for release from Rhino on June 28.

The Doobie Brothers: Live from The Beacon Theatre will be available in 2CD, 2CD/DVD, and Blu-ray iterations. Exclusive merchandise and bundles are also available in The Doobie Brothers' Official Online Store, and for a limited time, fans will receive an exclusive metallic ink lithograph when ordering via Rhino.com. The album's lead track, "Rockin' Down The Highway," is currently available on all streaming and download platforms.

The Beacon concerts began with the 10 songs from the band's sophomore album, 1972's platinum-selling Toulouse Street, including the radio staple "Listen to the Music" and "Jesus Is Just Alright."  Its follow-up, 1973's The Captain and Me, was played second, naturally.  The album, a double platinum smash, introduced the hits "Long Train Runnin'" and "China Grove."  Both LPs featured songs never previously played onstage by the band such as "Mamaloi," "O'Connelly Corners," "Ukiah," and "The Captain And Me."  The Doobies encored with their 1975 reinvention of Motown favorite "Take Me In Your Arms (Rock Me for a Little While)," the chart-topping "Black Water," and a reprise of "Listen to the Music."  Original Doobies Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons performed on the original albums, as did the band's current keyboardist, Little Feat co-founder Bill Payne.

Live from The Beacon Theatre hits stores from Rhino on June 28.  You'll find pre-order links and the complete track listing below!
