The one and only Ozzy Osbourne has announced a brand-new, career-spanning vinyl box set entitled See You On the Other Side, and it's the wildest celebration of the madman of rock and roll yet.
The 24-LP box set, due on November 29, features 16 albums on 150-gram multicolored vinyl. Every Ozzy Osbourne studio album is accounted for, from Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman to the more recent Black Rain, Down to Earth, and Scream. Those last three are making their U.S vinyl debut on the box set. The box also marks the debut of a 2-LP version of No More Tears. The original album packed nearly an hour of material across its two sides. Now, the album will be spread over two discs, promising improved sonics.
In addition to his studio albums, See You On the Other Side will include the 1980 Mr. Crowley EP and the 1990 EP Just Say Ozzy. Plus, there's a newly curated compilation called Flippin' the B Side, which features non-albums cuts, single flip-sides, and other hard-to-find tracks. Osbourne has also dipped into the vault for the box set to unearth an unreleased demo for "See You On the Other Side," which will be included on an exclusive 7" flexi-disc.
Typical of Osbourne, the visuals of the box set are as wild as the music. See You On the Other Side will include 10 new 24" x 36" posters accompanying the ten studio albums he released between 1980 and 2010, as well as 12 augmented reality experiences. Each lavish, limited-edition box set will be individually numbered and includes a vellum certificate of authenticity hand-signed by Ozzy Osbourne!
