The multi-hyphenate guitarist, keyboardist, singer, songwriter, and producer Trevor Rabin has garnered a reputation for his groundbreaking work in rock and in soundtrack music. After getting his start in the successful South African pop group Rabbitt, Rabin broke away on his own with a trio of well-received solo albums and began a career as a record producer. He then teamed up with Cinema, made up of ex-Yes members Alan White and Chris Squire. Bassist Squire had heard some of Rabin's demos for a planned solo effort and encouraged the group to record the material. As recording began to wrap up, Jon Anderson joined the group and a new line-up of Yes was created. The resulting 90125 became Yes's best-selling album and features their No. 1 single, Rabin's "Owner of a Lonely Heart." Since leaving Yes, Rabin became an in-demand session player (with credits including Michael Jackson, Seal, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan and more) and has also earned numerous accolades for this film scores, which to date total 34.
Trevor Rabin has recently self-released a 10-CD box set of his complete solo discography and more. It includes his three early albums for Chrysalis: Beginnings, Face to Face, and Wolf. Rabin's Elektra effort Can't Look Away is expanded with a disc of bonus tracks, including single edits and an interview previously only available on a promo LP sent out to radio stations. A previously unreleased concert from Boston during the same era is also included, alongside a set of Yes demos humorously entitled 90124. Rabin's celebrated film scores are represented with a pair of discs once only available in limited promo copies. Jack Frost contains his soundtrack for the film of the same name, while The Film Music of Trevor Rabin includes selections from Remember The Titans, Grace, A Beautiful Mind, Remembrance, Gettysburg, and more.
Each box set will contain a signed and numbered certificate; two 24-page photo books; an A3-sized poster; four reproduced promotional photos, and a number of reproduction press cuttings. In short, for rabid Rabin fans who just need it all, this is the set for you!

Where is "Finding Me a Way Back Home" from the first solo album?
Regan Judson says
Hi Sam! This is now also available from Popmarket which works out better for USA customers due to shipping costs. Thanks!

I bought his early albums on CD in the 90s when the now defunct One Way Records re-issued them. Looks like the first album is a different version, some different songs, and I had heard there was a different mix of this somewhere, so... I wonder if this is an entirely different version of this album than the One Way release? I always really liked his first album since I first heard it in the 90s and return to it often. And it was actually a minor US hit at the time, charted at #194! Anyway this looks like a great set and thanks for covering it.
