Madonna has more than earned the title of Queen of Pop - and a new collection, her first in a planned series of catalogue titles through Warner Music Group celebrating her four decades as a seminal recording artist - will highlight her influence on the dance floor.
The new compilation Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones tracks every one of Madonna's record-setting singles to reach the top of Billboard's dance charts, from 1982 debut "Everybody" to "I Don't Search I Find," one of four tracks off latest album Madame X (2019) to have reached the peak. In a considerable boon to collectors, this multi-format set doesn't merely replicate the familiar versions heard on her albums: every track is presented in a rare remix or edit, with nearly half making their debut on a commercial and/or physical release and a handful released for the first time anywhere. (Mike Dean, producer of Madame X and Madonna's 2015 effort Rebel Heart, has remastered this new set.)
Finally Enough Love traces Madonna's debut as ambitious pop/disco debutante, reaching critical mass through the '80s with a string of blockbuster and commercially acclaimed albums, all accompanied by eye-catching, boundary-pushing music videos. Her passion for dance was obvious from the jump, collaborating with luminaries of the form like Jellybean Benitez and Nile Rodgers on her first two albums. In 1987, her You Can Dance project featured a handful of earlier and fan favorite singles remixed and sequenced by Jellybean; it became one of the best-selling remix albums of all time, and Finally Found Love features several rare versions of mixes off a promo version of the album that was not continuously mixed like the commercial edition. (That set's version of "Into the Groove" is now streaming for the first time.)
As dance music evolved at the end of one century and the beginning of the other, Madonna managed to stick close to its pacing, helping mainstream an increasingly Eurocentric sensibility into her own work and achieving Top 10 pop hits well into the 2000s, even as new generations clearly inspired by her occupied the same commercial real estate. Finally Found Love features collaborations and mixes by the likes of Junior Vasquez, William Orbit, Deep Dish, Thunderpuss, Jacques Lu Cont, Peter Rauhofer, Felix Da Housecat, the Pet Shop Boys, LMFAO, Aviici, Tracy Young and Honey Dijon. Every one of her studio albums and more are represented, including a duet with heir apparent Britney Spears' on 2003's "Me Against the Music."
The collection will come out in several formats across the summer. On June 24, a 16-track abridged edition will be available to stream - just in time for your local pride celebrations. Then, on August 19 - three days after the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer's 64th birthday - that 16-track version will come out on CD and double vinyl alongside the complete 50-track set, on three CDs or six red and black vinyl LPs. (The vinyl will be available exclusively through Madonna's official store or Rhino's storefront.)
As previously reported, this set will mark the beginning of a new partnership between Madonna and her longtime home of Warner Music Group, who will acquire distribution rights to the last decade of Madge's self-owned work from Universal Music Group. Additional reissues are expected to appear in time - so even Finally Enough Love may not be enough. Check the full track lists and order links below.

Robert Lett says
A lot more excited to buy this than any of her last few records.
Rob M says
Celebrating her appearances at the top of the Dance charts makes sense. Using 7” Versions and Edits…doesn’t.
Laurent says
Unfortunately, it's Material Girl (so-called 7" version which is none other than the album version) instead of Lucky Star. :-(( Official stores and streaming platforms have it this way.
The edit of Physical Attraction was first released in 1983 as promo 7" single PRO-S-2023.
The 7" version of Like A Virgin is the album version too. It even says so in the future CD booklet (you can read it if you zoom in on the mockup image).
I'm kinda excited about the 24-bit remaster and starting with Justify My Love, when the remixes gets really distinctive, it should make for a nice listen.
Brian says
Laurent is right... every other website is listing "Material Girl (7" Version)" instead of "Lucky Star (7" Version)."
Laurent says
Just thought of something: they're using the "video version" of Open Your Heart when the existing "remix edit" would have been more appropriate. It was already omitted from the True Blue 35th Anniversary Edition. Do you it means the master for this mix might be lost?
Johnny says
I pre-ordered the 3-CD set and the Amazon exclusive 2-LP silver vinyl. This is gonna be fantastic!
