Gene Clark, The Lost Studio Sessions: 1964-1982 (Liberation Hall, LP: LIB-5111 / CD: LIB-5110)
Beyond his achievements as a founding member of the Byrds, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Gene Clark was one of the most gifted and prolific singer-songwriters of the rock era. The Lost Studio Sessions 1964-1982, which first surfaced on Sierra Records in 2016, is a connoisseur's collection of lost recordings from pivotal points in Clark's career, including: "She Darked the Sun," first recorded by Dillard and Clark, represented here by a previously undocumented version cut in 1970 with the Flying Burrito Brothers (featuring Gram Parsons, ex-Byrds Chris Hillman and Michael Clarke, and future member of the Eagles, Bernie Leadon); tracks from the 1972 Roadmaster sessions (featuring Roger McGuinn); and five tracks from 1982's Nyteflyte project which saw Clark reuniting with Hillman and Clarke.
Now Liberation Hall, in association with Sierra Global and the Gene Clark Estate, is re-releasing The Lost Studio Sessions 1964-1982 on CD, download, and limited-edition translucent tan, gatefold double vinyl. These historic recordings are presented with the best possible sound quality, mastered from the original analog monaural, stereo, and multitrack tapes. Both LP and CD include a deluxe booklet with rare photos, production and recording information, and extensive liner notes by compilation producer John Delgatto and Clark experts Johnny Rogan, John Einarson, and Domenic Priore. Digital single "No Memories Hangin' Round" is available now.

The Flying Burrito Brothers, Live in Amsterdam 1972 (Liberation Hall, LP: LIB-5170 / CD: LIB-5176)
Formed in 1968 by departing Byrds Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman, the Flying Burrito Brothers boasted a stellar lineup of talent during their first half-decade of incarnations, including the Eagles' Bernie Leadon and pedal steel legend "Sneaky" Pete Kleinow. But by 1972, soon-to-be Firefall founder Rick Roberts needed to recruit virtually a whole new band to fulfill European tour dates already contracted for the Burritos. Enter bluegrass fiddle player Byron Berline, bassist Roger Bush, and banjoist/guitarist Alan Munde (all from The Country Gazette); guitarist Kenny Wertz (The Scottsville Squirrel Barkers); pedal steel player Don Beck (Dillard & Clark); and drummer Eric Dalton (Southwind). A double vinyl LP capturing this January 14 show at The Concertgebouw was released in Europe in 1973 but was never picked up in the U.S. until now. Live in Amsterdam 1972 features an entire bluegrass set followed by a selection of country-rock standards including "Wild Horses", "Sin City," and "Christine's Tune." This reissue will be available on double CD, double vinyl LP, and download. The gatefold LP features liner notes, rare photos, and a band family tree. The CD and digital will additionally include five bonus tracks. Digital single "She Made Me Lose My Blues" is available now.

Various Artists, Mejor de Los Nuggetz: '60s Garage and Psych (Liberation Hall, LP: LIB-5120 / CD: LIB-5119)
Mejor de Los Nuggetz is a collection of Spanish language interpretations of many of the biggest hits of the 1960s, performed during that era by a hyper-kinetic lineup of garage bands from Mexico, Spain, and beyond. For many listeners, this compilation will serve as an introduction to the fuzz and fury of rock en español from such artists as Los Apson, Los Mustang, Los Shain's, Los Salvajes, and more. All these tracks previously appeared in the box set Los Nuggetz: '60s Garage & Psych from Latin America released in 2013 by RockBeat Records. Now, Liberation Hall takes 16 of the box's most popular tracks and compiles them in a limited-edition opaque red vinyl pressing. The collection will also be available on CD and download. All configurations also feature four bonus vintage audio advertisements.
