The first entries in Phil Collins' long-awaited "Take a Look At Me Now" reissue campaign were delayed from November to the end of this January, but there's even more excitement on the horizon: Rhino Records today announced the second wave of the eight-album reissue plan will hit stores February 26. The next titles are Phil's second album, Hello, I Must Be Going! (1982) and sixth studio effort, Dance Into the Light (1996).

On Hello, Collins modified the formula that made solo debut Face Value such a landmark release in his career, marrying his straightforward pop songwriting sensibilities to more overt R&B and jazz influences. Working again with producer/engineer Hugh Padgham (this time on a much simpler, eight-track recording), Collins struck musical gold with the acidic, drum-frenzied "I Don't Care Anymore," the pleading ballad "Don't Let Him Steal Your Heart Away" and a relatively straightforward cover of The Supremes' "You Can't Hurry Love," which topped the British charts and went Top 10 in America. Collins would also receive his first BRIT and Grammy nominations for this album, furthering his global domination over pop music in the '80s.

Dance Into the Light, released in 1996 was a markedly different effort for Collins. For the first time, he was a true solo artist (having exited Genesis that year), and he would adapt a somewhat more back-to-basics approach after the self-produced and self-played Both Sides three years earlier. Back at the boards was Padgham, along with a band that included longtime guitarist Daryl Streamer and bass legend Nathan East as well as a new horn section, the Vine Street Horns. Despite an offering that was as upbeat as 1985's smash hit No Jacket Required and a dash of world music influences not unlike former bandmate Peter Gabriel,Dance turned out to be one of Collins' biggest commercial flops, peaking only at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 and spawning no hit singles (though the title track was a U.K. Top 10 hit).

Once again, these deluxe sets will be remastered by longtime Genesis associate Nick Davis and backed with bonus discs of Collins-selected bonus material. As with the first wave, live material is the primary order of the day, though Hello features two unreleased studio demos and Dance features five demo tracks, three of which were released on various CD singles throughout the European markets.
