Rita Coolidge and Kris Kristofferson
1973's Full Moon was the first duet album Rita Coolidge made with her then-husband Kris Kristofferson. It was the first of three collaborative albums the couple would make together. It was highly successful, going to the peak position on the country charts and winning a Grammy for Best Country Performance for a Duo or Group for the Kristofferson-penned "From The Bottle To the Bottom." It has never been released on CD outside of Japan, and this new reissue has been expanded with six previously unreleased outtakes: one from the album sessions and five more solo Coolidge recordings from the period. Our very own Joe Marchese provides the new liner notes based on an interview with Coolidge!
