Jesse Ed Davis
Native American Jesse Ed Davis was a well-regarded session musician who was a member of Taj Mahal for their first three albums. After leaving the band he performed session work for such artists as Willie Nelson. He drew the attention of Atco and recorded three solo albums there between 1970 and 1972. These albums featured some notable collaborators including Leon Russell, Eric Clapton, Gram Parsons and Dr. John among others.
