Rosebud

Omnivore follows up its acclaimed reissue of Judy Henske and Jerry Yester's Farewell Aldebaran with another cult record from the duo!  Rosebud was the name of the band and the album featuring Henkse, Yester, Craig Doerge, and John Seiter.  It was a rocky road to the band's sole LP; after recording was "completed" and the album "finished," Rosebud added bassist David Vaught. Further songs were recorded, and others removed in favor of the new material.  Omnivore takes that original 1971 album (originally released on Frank Zappa's Straight label) and adds ten bonus tracks - seven of which are previously unreleased!  The new liner notes feature quotes from Henske, Yester, and Doerge!
