The Commodores

For this new vinyl reissue of The Commodores' classic debut, Motown and UMe have gone back to the original production masters to offer seven of the album's nine tracks in longer versions! One has been heard before (an extended "Easy" appeared on the group's entry in Universal's Gold compilation series in 2006), but the others, including additional minutes of album tracks like "Funny Feelings," "Heaven Knows" and "Zoom" (the album's title track in the U.K.), are heard here for the first time.  This black vinyl release also contains a replica of the original autographed poster inserted into copies of the original pressing.   Universal's official web store is offering a limited blue vinyl variant, 500 copies strong.
