This 26-CD/3-DVD set is drawn from the Deutsche Grammophon/Universal archives and is being released in conjunction with the Bernstein centennial. Drawn from DG's recordings as well as earlier albums on Decca (including the ballet Fancy Free and the original Broadway cast recording of Wonderful Town) and MGM (Trouble in Tahiti), the box includes his music for Broadway, ballet and opera, incidental music, scores for film, orchestra and chamber groups, vocal scores, and piano music. Also includes a 140-page book in English, French and German.
