Cowboy

Real Gone has the CD premiere of the third album from the band Cowboy - named Boyer & Talton as Scott Boyer and Tommy Talton were the only two band members remaining!  The duo, with producer Johnny Sandlin, gathered a new group of musicians to join them including Bill Stewart on drums, future Charlie Daniels Band bassist Charlie Hayward, Allman Brothers Band members Chuck Leavell and Jaimoe on keyboards and percussion, respectively, and saxophonists Randall Bramblett and David Brown. These were many of the same players who had backed Gregg Allman on his first solo album, Laid Back, in 1973 and would join him on the tour which would be documented on the Gregg Allman on Tour album.  "Time Will Take Us" and "Where Will You Go" from the Gregg Allman on Tour album have bee added to this reissue, which has been remastered by Mike Milchner.
