Grateful Dead

Real Gone has reissued another installment of Grateful Dead's Road Trips.  This concert was recorded at Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, N.J.  There are not many Dead shows which have been released from 1988.  This show, held less than a year after the Dead's hit album In the Dark from 1987, includes some unusual covers and the little-performed "To Lay Me Down."  The 3-CD set includes the full show from April 1, 1988 and over half the show from the previous night.  It has been mastered by Jeffrey Norman in HDCD sound and features a full-color booklet with notes and photos.  The set was first available through the band's website in February, 2011.
