Merry Discmas and Happy New Year!

The stockings are hung, the tree is trimmed and we’re getting ready for a long winter’s nap! The Second Disc team will be relaxing until January 2, 2019 – when we’re back, we’ll be a few weeks away from our ninth anniversary, if you can believe it – not to mention the ultra-cool release of Johnny Mathis’ I Love My Lady on standalone CD!

On behalf of everyone at TSD HQ, we want to thank you for making our site a destination for fun, upbeat reissue reportage as well as impassioned archival music projects with our partners at Real Gone Music. It’s no secret that a job you love is the best kind, and being able to fulfill our (and hopefully your) dreams of great music from the past in the present is a responsibility we graciously accept. We could not do it without you, and the best wishes for a loving, healthy and prosperous holiday season and new year ahead come to you from the absolute center of our hearts.

See ya next year!

  1. Happy Christmas to you, and Thank You, most sincerely, for giving insightful, detailed posts on albums I didn’t know were being reissued, with deluxe treatments. I can definitely say, my music library is better because I diligently read your columns!
