Live in Japan 1973, Live in London 1974 is a 4CD/4LP box set offering two much-coveted sets in the short but pivotal era in which guitar god Jeff Beck, drummer/singer Carmine Appice, and bassist Tim Bogert laid down a heavy duty power trio that knocked fans of The Jeff Beck Group and The Yardbirds sideways. Both concerts have been remixed from original multitrack elements with the approval of all three band members (Bogert died in 2021; the set is dedicated to both him and the late Beck). Available on CD or vinyl, with a grape variant of the latter exclusively available at Rhino's official web store, this new box also includes informative liner notes by journalist Bruce Pilato, placing the short-lived trio in its proper context. Rare photos and memorabilia and a replica poster will also be included inside.
