Deep Purple

Legendary hard rock band Deep Purple chronicles 50 years of music on A Fire in the Sky , a new career-spanning collection available in 1-CD and 3-CD editions (with a 3-LP edition following on November 8).  The set draws on Deep Purple's first 19 albums (all but their most recent) and features unique track listings for each iteration, with the 1-CD version featuring 11 songs in single or other edits.  The 3-CD version has the original album versions plus alternate versions, and the upcoming 3-LP edition will be a composite of both CD releases.
