David Bowie

Polydor and Deram are revisiting David Bowie's 1967 debut album featuring "Uncle Arthur," "Rubber Band," and "Silly Boy Blue" as a 2CD set.  Alas, the 2010 Deluxe Edition remains the gold standard for this title, with 53 tracks on 2 CDs including the original mono and stereo albums plus 25 bonus tracks.  This new reissue has the 14-song stereo mix only plus 16 bonus tracks, all but two of which are on the 2010 release.  The two "new" bonus tracks are "The Laughing Gnome" (Vocal Take 1 / Mix One) and "Space Oddity" ("Love You Till Tuesday" Full-Length Mono Version).  Both of these were included - and the latter premiered on - the 2023 vinyl-only box set Laughing with Liza: Vocalion and Deram Singles 1964-1967 Plus.  This digipak edition also includes a 12-page booklet.  Three color vinyl versions were also issued earlier this summer, each with an exclusive track listing.
