The seventeenth volume of Bob Dylan's long-running Bootleg Series explores the creation of Dylan's thirtieth studio album.  Fragments: Time Out of Mind Sessions (1996-1997) takes a deep dive into the three-time Grammy Award-winning album which was perceived by many as a comeback after a string of lackluster or uninspired LPs.  The collection will be available in 5CD and 10LP deluxe editions as well as 2CD and 4LP standard editions; digital versions of both presentations will also be released.  The first disc features a new remix of the album stripping away the effects and processing added by original producer Daniel Lanois.  The second and third discs present over two dozen previously unreleased outtakes and alternate versions, while the fourth disc has live material and the fifth reissues material first released on the Tell Tale Signs Bootleg volume.
