Status Quo

A deluxe edition of Status Quo's first concert album will pair the original album - never a favorite of the band's leader Francis Rossi - with the full, newly-remixed shows that it was assembled from, all under the supervision of the band.  Working with Statua Quo and engineer Andy Gamble at AVP Productions, the newly-expanded Live! pairs a remaster of the original album with the three Glasgow shows (each with identical set lists) - all sourced from newly-discovered multi-tracks of the concerts. These fresh new mixes have given Rossi (who still tours with the Quo to this day) the chance to hear the material to his satisfaction, and this new set bears his figurative stamp of approval.  It's packaged in a 7" box set with a booklet that includes photos, memorabilia, and new liner notes by both Dave Ling of Classic Rock and Gamble, who dives deep on the restoration process.
