Joe Satriani

Guitar hero Joe Satriani is back with a new studio album produced by Satriani and Jim Scott.  Shapeshifting features the artist joined by Kenny Aronoff, Chris Chaney, and Eric Caudieux as well as Lisa Coleman of The Revolution and Christopher Guest.  The lead single "1980" channels that period of time when he was performing with The Squares; Satriani has noted Eddie Van Halen as one inspiration for this album.  Available on CD, digital platforms, and black vinyl.  Satriani's online store will have an autographed colored vinyl edition (link TBD) while Newbury Comics will exclusively carry an autographed CD.  (Newbury cannot currently ship as a result of COVID-19; it's now listed as "out of stock" but may return when the store does.)
