Gary Burton

BGO brings together on two CDs three albums from vibes master Gary Burton originally released between 1964 and 1966.  Something's Coming features original material as well as a cover of the Bernstein/Sondheim West Side Story tune; The Groovy Sound of Music lives up to its title as a reinterpretation of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Sound of Music score; and The Time Machine has both Burton originals plus covers of The Beatles and Rodgers and Hart.
