Bear Family celebrates the early days of Roy Acuff on this new 9-CD/1-DVD box set collecting the pioneering country artist’s complete recordings for Vocalion, Arc and Columbia between 1936 and 1951.  The LP-sized set includes a 184-page hardcover book with a total playing time of nearly 11 hours over 228 tracks.  The DVD features a 1940 film of the Grand Ole Opry.
