Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham took the famous stage at New York's Madison Square Garden on July 27-29, 1973 for the concerts that were captured in the film The Song Remains the Same.  Now that film's soundtrack, produced by Page and originally released on Swan Song in 1976, is getting the lavish reissue treatment in a variety of formats including its first-ever 5.1 audio surround release on Blu-ray, and a Super Deluxe box with both the soundtrack (on CD and LP) and the movie (on DVD).  The sets arrive on September 7, 50 years to the day of the first performance by the band as "The New Yardbirds."
