ORIGINAL POST: Duranies like me can breathe a sigh of relief: following the news that an April 13 release date has been confirmed for the deluxe reissue of Duran side-project Arcadia’s lone album So Red the Rose (1985), our friends at Slicing Up Eyeballs have confirmed that EMI will release the other planned deluxe sets for Duran Duran (1981) and Seven and the Ragged Tiger (1983) on March 30. 

If you are a fan of the band, do invest in these sets. If the previous reissues – last year’s double-disc version of Rio (1982) and the live CD/DVD Hammersmith ’82! – are any indication, these will be something to beat. Mike Duquette (Founder) was fascinated with catalog music ever since he was a teenager. A 2009 graduate of Seton Hall University with a B.A. in journalism, Mike paired his profession with his passion through The Second Disc, one of the first sites to focus on all reissue labels great and small.
