Bellybutton: Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K.
Spilt Milk: Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K.

Here are the deluxe editions that fans of the cult '90s pop revivalists have been waiting for!  A total of 51 bonus tracks are spread across these freshly-remastered reissues of Jellyfish's two studio albums.  Look for Joe's review later today!

Universal Togetherness Band

Universal Togetherness Band, Universal Togetherness Band (Numero Group) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K.)

The Numero Group has excavated eight tracks, recorded between 1979 and 1981, from a soulful Chicago collective that may be the best funk-dance-soul outfit you’ve never heard of!

Red Garland - Korner

The Red Garland Trio, Swingin' on the Corner: Live at Keystone Korner (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K.)

This 2-CD or 3-LP set features previously unissued live recordings by the late, great jazz pianist Red Garland, recorded at San Francisco’s Keystone Korner. Garland is joined by bassist Leroy Vinnegar and drummer Philly Joe Jones on these 16 tracks totaling over 150 minutes of music.  These recordings, taken from the soundboard the week of December 6, 1977, mark the only time this trio ever performed or recorded together.  The 2-CD set adds a 44-page booklet containing new liner notes from Nat Hentoff, Ira Gitler, Don Schlitten, Doug Ramsey, Benny Green, Kenny Washington and producers, Zev Feldman and  Todd Barkan, plus previously unseen photographs.  Songs include “On a Clear Day,” “It’s Impossible,” “Straight No Chaser,” “Autumn Leaves” and “The Christmas Song.”

King Crimson - Orpheum

King Crimson, Live at the Orpheum (DGM) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K.)

Released to coincide with the 46th anniversary of King Crimson’s formation in January 1969, Live At The Orpheum features performances from the band’s critically acclaimed, sold-out 2014 US tour.  Available as a CD/DVD-A set (with high-resolution 96/24 stereo on the DVD-A) or on heavyweight 200 gram vinyl, this release premieres 41 minutes of live music from the current seven-piece iteration of King Crimson.  Includes “Starless,” “Sailor’s Tale,” “The Letters” and more as recorded on September 30 and October 1, 2014 at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theatre.

Bennett Gaga Live

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, Cheek to Cheek Live! (Interscope/Columbia) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. )

Hot on the heels of their smash 2014 collaborative album, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are taking their act on the road – and onto home screens with this 72-minute, 19-song concert filmed at New York City’s Jazz at Lincoln Center last summer.  The 72-minute special features such standards as “Anything Goes,” “I Won’t Dance,” “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye” and Irving Berlin’s title track as performed by Bennett, Gaga and a 39-piece orchestra.  Available on both Blu-ray and DVD.

All this and WWII

Various Artists, All This and World War II: Original Soundtrack (Culture Factory) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K.)
