We know that you all know about this one...it's the ultimate celebration of Bobby Darin's time at Motown Records on 2 CDs, newly remastered from the original analog tapes by Kevin Reeves and featuring my liner notes based on new interviews with Smokey Robinson and Jerry Marcellino! Most of this material is making its debut on CD, and it's Darin as you've never heard him before. Bobby would have turned 80th on May 14, but his rich legacy of music lives on!

The Cars, Moving in Stereo: The Best of The Cars (Elektra/Rhino)
Moving in Stereo: The Best of The Cars, a new single-disc compilation, rounds up the best of the band's output from their entire career, including their incredible run on Elektra Records and even the band's 2011 effort Move Like This. (That last record was, of course, only a partial reunion, after the passing of vocalist/bassist Benjamin Orr in 2000.) The collection includes 18 tracks, including the rare single mix of "I'm Not the One" included on the band's original Greatest Hits album, and two unreleased tracks: a live version of "Everything You Say" from the band's final Elektra albumDoor to Door (1987) and a remix of "Sad Song" from Move Like This. Ted Jensen has remastered under Ric Ocasek's supervision. Available on CD and vinyl. Read more here!
Salvo brings the 2015 Soundstage television program starring Brian Wilson, taped in Las Vegas, to a CD/DVD package. The concert united Wilson with Al Jardine, Blondie Chaplin, Billy Hinsche and various special guests to celebrate his legendary songbook and his new album No Pier Pressure. The CD features 19 tracks, and the DVD has 25 plus two bonus tracks and additional interview footage. Amazon U.S. is currently showing this title as available only via third-party sellers; Amazon U.K. has it directly for a very reasonable price, as well!
Esoteric looks back at the short but electrifying career of Birmingham's The Move with these comprehensive, remastered and expanded reissues!
