The vinyl single will be housed in a die-cut card sleeve, and will include “Eleanor Rigby” on the flipside, as the original “Yellow Submarine” single did upon its release in August 1966. A Number One hit in the U.K. and other countries around the world including Australia, Germany, Holland, and across Scandinavia, it was kept from the U.S.’ top spot by The Supremes’ “You Can’t Hurry Love.” The tune returned to the British charts during Parlophone’s 1980s campaign which found each Beatles single reissued in picture sleeve and picture disc versions. It peaked then at No. 63.

The picture disc is available now for pre-order at Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada TBD!

    1. I agree that they charge way too much for vinyl, but clearly people are paying the prices. If it’s what the market will bear, that’s what they will charge. That said, I am not shelling out $18 plus tax, plus shipping for it either.
