In anticipation of their upcoming North American No Filter tour, The Rolling Stones have announced the April 19 release of Honk, a new compilation album that focuses on the rock titans' post-1971 output. It will be released in a variety of configurations: 1-CD, 3-CD deluxe, 2-LP, and 4-LP deluxe editions, as well as digital download and streaming.
The 1-CD collection and the 2-LP edition both collect 19 of The Stones' singles recorded from 1971 to 2016, plus an unreleased live version of "Wild Horses" featuring Florence Welch that was taken from a London Stadium performance on May 22, 2018. The 3-CD edition of Honk includes 36 hits, plus an exclusive third CD with 10 unreleased live recordings from the last 6 years. This includes duet versions of "Beast of Burden," featuring Ed Sheeran; "Dead Flowers," as performed with Brad Paisley; "Bitch" featuring Dave Grohl; and the aforementioned "Wild Horses" with Florence Welch. The disc also includes recent recordings of the band tearing through "Get Off of My Cloud," "Dancing with Mr. D," "Shine A Light," Under My Thumb," "Let's Spend the Night Together," and "She's A Rainbow." As we previously reported, the latter will see release a few days early on an exclusive one-sided, yellow vinyl 10" single for Record Store Day.
For vinyl aficionados, The Rolling Stones' Online Shop will have an exclusive, 4-LP color vinyl edition of the collection that mirrors the track list of the deluxe CD and will be pressed on purple, red, orange, and yellow-colored 180-gram vinyl. The run will be limited to just 2,500 units in the U.S.
The store is also stocking the other editions of the collection. There, you'll also find exclusive bundles that include various t-shirts, hoodies, and lithograph options, plus a wealth of Honk-related apparel. All orders taken through the Rolling Stones' Online Shop will receive an exclusive Honk-emblazoned bumper sticker.
The release April 19 release of Honk is still a few weeks away, but The Rolling Stones have released a teaser for the album with "Wild Horses," the May 22, 2018 performance that features Florence Welch. You can take a listen to it in the clip below. Keep scrolling to find pre-order links ad track lists for all the configurations!

No. Just... No.
Bill says
With Grrrrr and now Honk, the Stones seem to favor one syllable titles for their repackages. May I suggest Meh for the inevitable next one?
wardo says
I suggested ZZZZ...
Pat says
I look forward to the Stones eventually putting out a compilation of songs they first put out on compilations (plus some exclusive new tracks of course).
Megatof says
I love the idea ! 🤣
