Simple Minds' Rejuvenation 2001-2014 - previously released on LP in 2018 - is now available as a 7CD/1-DVD box set, courtesy of Edsel. The set boasts expanded versions of five of the band's 21st century albums: Neon Lights (2001), Cry (2002), Black and White 050505 (2005), Graffiti Soul (2009) and Big Music (2014). Fans can expect 25 bonus tracks, as well, including the hard-to-find covers set Searching For the Lost Boys, which was previously a bonus disc housed with Graffiti Soul. There's also the Big Music bonus disc that features the Simple Minds/Stranglers collaboration "(Get A) Grip (On Yourself)" and four Jonson Somerset remixes of Big Music material. The DVD gathers contemporaneous music videos, behind-the scenes footage, EPKs, and interviews. The set is presented in a 12x12" book with album-by-album liner notes by Jim Kerr and a wealth of photos.
The lavish box set is out today in North America from Edsel. (The U.K. release was last Friday.) You can check out the full track listing and order links below!

Joe Mac Pherson says
I'm still waiting for a deluxe treatment of the 1981 double album set, Sons And Fascination/Sisters Feelings Call. Also, from 1980, Empires And Dance. Both releases from the early 1980's are equal in their innovation, lyrical imagery and first rate musical production. I originally bought both, at the time of their original issue dates, as UK LP imports. Now I own them as single UK disc CD's. They deserve better than that. There are tracks on Empires And Dance, that would defy anyone who never heard the album before, to believe they were recorded in 1980. Way ahead of it's time! Regarding the 2 LP set from 1981, the music is luxuriously dense, like a New Wave Wall of Sound. The lyrics are poetic, almost abstract at times. Extraordinary, to think Simple Minds recorded a track called League Of Nations.
Will I ever hear these remarkable albums, as deluxe box set editions? I'm so ready to buy them!

All the b-sides, extended versions, of the tracks from thèse two albums were available in the 5x5 box set... And demos were available in the Silver Box from 2004.
Therefore I really doubt they would issue à boxset for any of these albums (let alone the two first ones).
On the other hand, their albums from the nineties :
Street Fighting Years (1989),
Real Life (1991),
Good News... (1995)
Néapolis (1998)
Our Secrets... (scheduled for 2000)
Would really benefit for at least à global box set à la 5x5 or Rejuvenation... There are a lot of cd-singles tracks that would be interestinh to gather.
