The Queen of Disco's reigned over the pop charts for decades with stints on Casablanca, Geffen, Mercury, and Atlantic. Over the years, she released 17 studio albums, two live albums, and a wealth of successful singles. Encore will bring together all those albums across 33 CDs, plus 8 discs of 7" and 12" mixes, rare edits, non-album cuts, and other rarities. It totals a staggering 329 tracks, truly the most comprehensive tribute to Donna Summer ever collected.

All the tracks have been newly remastered and the packaging boasts mini-LP replica sleeves of each album with proper gatefolds where applicable. The discs are housed in a 12" x 12" slipcased box with a 40-page large-format book that's as impressive as the music. Christian John Wikane has contributed a new 25,000-word essay that utilizes new interviews with many of Summer's collaborators as well as archival commentary from Summer and Bob Esty. Her longtime producer, Giorgio Moroder, provides the foreword.
