This past weekend marked the one-year anniversary of the opening of Avengers: Endgame in movie theaters. To coincide with this, Mondo, in conjunction with Marvel Music/Hollywood Records, has just announced vinyl versions of the soundtracks to both Endgame and 2018's Avengers: Infinity War in a 6-LP deluxe set or as two individual 3-LP releases. All of these releases are available to pre-order tomorrow at Mondo's webstore and will ship in June.

Infinity War and Endgame marked the climax to many of the stories in Marvel Cinematic Universe series of films which began 2008's Iron Man. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Infinity War would make just over 2 billion dollars at the worldwide box office while Endgame would garner almost 2.8 billion, becoming the highest-grossing film of all time. Both films were scored veteran composer Alan Silvestri who returned to the franchise after scoring 2012's original Avengers film. (He sat out 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron which was scored by Brian Taylor and Danny Elfman.)

These new releases continue Mondo's series of Marvel soundtracks, after Ant-Man and the Wasp, Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok. The Infinity War and Endgame albums are each 180-gram 3-LP sets on black vinyl and come in tri-fold sleeves. Both releases contain the contents from the digital versions of the albums, which were expanded from their contemporaneous CD and vinyl presentations and are making their physical debut here. Exclusive to Mondo's webstore is a six-LP set containing both soundtracks in a slipcase. And the box set version is the only way to get the soundtracks on colored "Infinity Stone" vinyl - one color for each of the six Infinity Stones from the movies. These releases each feature artwork from Matt Taylor, an illustrator whose has done previous work based on the Marvel films. The artwork used in this set for Endgame was released as print last.
