Roger Waters: Us + Them remains one of the most ambitious tours that former Pink Floyd bassist and songwriter has ever undertaken. Staged from 2017 to 2018, Waters performed a total of 156 shows to a combined 2.3 million people across the world. If you weren’t one of those with a ticket, or if you want to relive the show, you’re in luck. It’s been announced that the concert film Roger Waters: Us + Them, previously exclusive to Amazon, will now see wide release in a variety of formats on October 2.

The film and resulting soundtrack album were recorded in Amsterdam and feature a career-spanning 23-song set including gems from Pink Floyd’s genre-defining albums Meddle, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall alongside new, politically charged material from his latest studio album, Is This the Life We Really Want? Directed by Sean Evans and Waters, the movie incorporates cutting-edge technology to place the viewer as close to the action as possible.

You can purchase Roger Waters: Us + Them on Blu-ray, DVD, or as a 2-CD or 3-LP set. The 3-LP set comes packaged in a triple-gatefold sleeve with printed inners and an 8-page booklet. The visual media features all the same songs in the main program, plus a documentary about the tour and two bonus performances: “Comfortably Numb” and “Smell the Roses.” The film is also available digitally to purchase or watch on-demand, including in 4K resolution. And if you’re a fan of artist merchandise, Roger Waters’ online shop has a number of music and merch bundles to choose from. All the physical configurations are set to arrive October 2, while the streaming film is available now. Scroll down for full details and order links!

Sam Stone has been obsessed with catalog music ever since his folks gave him a Contours best-of collection for his fourth birthday. He quickly began to learn all he could about rock and roll history and beyond, a passion that continues to this day.

Sam followed his love for music to the classroom, earning a B.A. from Towson University in Electronic Media and Film, concentrating on radio and audio production, as well as an M.A. in Audio Arts from Syracuse University. He has put his knowledge and skills to work at prominent reissue labels and is excited to bring his perspectives on catalog music to a broader audience. When he’s not writing for The Second Disc, Sam can be found researching about music, talking about Joni Mitchell’s career, and adding another box set to his Amazon wish list.

  1. Was able to get to the HOUSTON & LIMA PERU shows from this type and was phenomenal sound and video light show. We were supposed to see him in Dallas Oct. 3 2020 also but postponed due to Covid-19. If you have not been to his concert it is a must see.
Already ordered the album set last February and waiting for it to arrive for a ROGER PARTY
