Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, The Reunion Tour '99 (Columbia/Legacy) (iTunes / Amazon)
25 summers ago, Bruce Springsteen took The E Street Band back on the road for their first full-scale tour together after more than a decade away. They've never split up again; in fact, they're wrapping up the second European leg of their latest tour tonight at London's Wembley Stadium before kicking off a third leg through the U.S. and Canada in September. (A quartet of postponed European shows, put off due to vocal issues with the singer, will commence next summer.) In the tradition of previous archival digital live albums - drawn from full-length shows available on Nugs.net - this streaming-only set brings together two hours of glory from one of the most celebrated tours of the last three decades.
Jackson Browne, The Road East - Live in Japan (Inside) (iTunes / Amazon)
Released only in Japan in 2017, this 10-track set chronicled a multi-concert trek through the country in support of 2014's Standing in the Breach. Features versions of "These Days," "In the Shape of a Heart," "Lives in the Balance" and "I Am a Patriot." (Thanks to our pal Matt Wardlaw for the tip!)
Jennifer Lopez, On the 6 (25th Anniversary Edition) (Epic/Legacy) (iTunes / Amazon)
Having already proved her mettle as a dancer (on In Living Color) and an actor (in Selena and Out of Sight), the Bronx-born Lopez crossed over into music effortlessly with her debut album, featuring the smash hits "If You Had My Love" (a No. 1 hit) and the Top 10s "Waiting for Tonight" and "Let's Get Loud." Remixes, edits, a cappella versions and instrumentals of those tracks and more - 17 bonus cuts in total - make up the extra material on this new digital reissue.
Aloe Blacc, Lift Your Spirit (Deluxe Edition) / Lift Your Spirit (Naked) / Lift Your Spirit (The Instrumentals) (XIX/Interscope/UMe)
Deluxe: iTunes / Amazon
Naked: iTunes / Amazon
Instrumentals: iTunes / Amazon
British singer Aloe Blacc became an international sensation when he contributed vocals to the dance-folk smash "Wake Me Up" by the late EDM artist Avicii in 2013. A year later, his third solo album Lift Your Spirit featured another international Top 10, the Elton John-interpolating "The Man." For the album's 10th anniversary, it's been digitally expanded to incorporate several U.K. bonus tracks, and the album's instrumental and a cappella vocal tracks have been released as separate products, too.
Julie Andrews, The Lass with the Delicate Air (RCA Victor) (iTunes / Amazon)
For all her towering performances on stage and screen, Dame Julie Andrews didn't cut as many solo albums as you'd expect. But her first, released just a year after originating Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady on Broadway (and months after starring in Rodgers and Hammerstein's adaptation of Cinderella for television), is available on streaming for all to hear! With the aid of the great orchestrator/arranger Irwin Kostal (who'd work with her on both Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music), Julie runs through an assortment of music hall numbers and folk songs, plus the Noel Coward standout "London Pride," written during the Blitz in World War II - an incident Andrews lived through when she was a child.
Magnolia Park, "i2i" (Walt Disney Records) (iTunes / Amazon)
Another single from the forthcoming pop-punk-meets-Disney album A Whole New Sound, Orlando band Magnolia Park puts a fun spin on the cult favorite sung by Tevin Campbell from 1995's A Goofy Movie.
Larnelle Harris, Give Me More Love in My Heart / Touch Me Lord / I've Just Seen Jesus / From a Servant's Heart / The Father Hath Provided / I Can Begin Again / Live - Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs (New Life)
Give Me: iTunes / Amazon
Touch Me: iTunes / Amazon
Jesus: iTunes / Amazon
Servant's Heart: iTunes / Amazon
Father: iTunes / Amazon
Begin Again: iTunes / Amazon
Live: iTunes / Amazon
