CD: Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada
LP: Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada / Official Store (140-gram Purple Marbled Vinyl)
Ten years after his tragic passing, a newly-curated release from Prince’s vault offers 10 unreleased tracks spanning his entire recording career – mostly unconsidered, in their respective forms, for any formal versions of his albums. Advance highlights include “With This Tear,” a song Prince gave to Celine Dion early in her English-language singing career, and the ’90s pop/funk “Stone.” Read more here.

Genesis, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway [Blu-ray Audio] (Rhino/Atlantic) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada)
Rhino breaks out the Blu-ray from last year’s super deluxe box of Genesis’ 1974 classic The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. This release has 2025 Dolby Atmos mix and the 2025 stereo remaster of the album in 96kHz/24bit uncompressed audio. This standalone package will feature a tri-fold design with the original story printed on the inside in the style of the vinyl release.

The Stooges, The Stooges / Fun House [Blu-ray Audio] (Rhino/Elektra) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada)
Rhino has another Blu-ray Audio release this week, pairing The Stooges’ first two albums from 1969 and 1970, respectively. These primal blasts of hard rock feature new Dolby Atmos mixes by Ed Stasium as well as his new stereo mixes in high-resolution.

Bob Marley and The Wailers, Roots Rock Reggae: Live at the Hammersmith Odeon (Island/UMe) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada)
The late Bob Marley and The Wailers’ June 1976 stand at London’s Hammersmith Odeon comes to life on this 2CD or 2LP set. The previously unreleased performances are joined by new liner notes by Don Letts and rare photos. Tracks include “I Shot the Sheriff,” “No Woman, No Cry,” “Roots, Rock, Reggae,” and a climactic, encore-closing “Get Up, Stand Up.”

Joan Jett, I Love Rock ‘n Roll: 45th Anniversary Edition (Blackheart) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada)
Joan Jett is bringing her 1981 album (featuring the title track and “Crimson and Clover”) back into print with this new edition on CD or LP which mirrors the track listing of Legacy’s 2019 reissue (the original album plus five bonus tracks).

Klaus Nomi, Klaus Nomi / Simple Man (Omnivore)
Klaus Nomi: Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada
Simple Man: Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada
Omnivore returns both albums from the late genre-bending singer and East Village mainstay Klaus Nomi to print on CD and LP. Nomi’s 1981 debut featured his dramatic reinventions of such diverse songs as “Lightnin’ Strikes,” “You Don’t Own Me,” and “The Twist,” while follow-up “Simple Man” featured the eclectic likes of “Just One Look,” “Ding Dong (The Witch Is Dead),” and “Falling in Love Again.” Decades later, these albums still sound like no other.

Bananarama, True Confessions: 40th Anniversary Edition (London Records) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada)
London Records revisits Bananarama’s 1986 album True Confessions (featuring the smash chart-topper “Venus” as well as “More Than Physical,” “Do Not Disturb,” and “A Trick of the Night”) as a 3CD set boasting the original album with B-sides and bonus cuts; one disc of 1986 remixes; and a third disc of 2026 remixes and rarities. A picture disc vinyl LP of the original album is also out today.

Marco Beltrami, Scream: Original Motion Picture Score – 30th Anniversary (Varese Sarabande/Craft Recordings) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada)
Varese Sarabande and Craft Recordings celebrate Marco Beltrami’s score to the 1996 thriller Scream with a new anniversary reissue. The original 14-track album returns to vinyl in a “blood-soaked” edition on “Woodsboro Bloodbath” red vinyl as well as in a variety of exclusive pressings, including a “Knife’s Edge” silver vinyl with poster (Target), “Surprise, Sidney” metallic blend vinyl (Barnes & Noble), “Don’t Hang Up” clear vinyl (Books-A-Million), “I’ll Be Right Back” blue vinyl (Urban Outfitters), “Final Girl” splatter vinyl (Hot Topic), “Wrong Answer” Blood Red Splatter vinyl (Varese Sarabande/Craft Recordings storefronts), and “Final Phone Call” blue vinyl at indie retailers. CD fans aren’t being left out in the cold, either. An Extended Cut Edition of Beltrami’s score features all 40 of the film’s cues from the 2022 Scream box set.

Gerry Beckley, Merciful (Blue Elan) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada)

Engelbert Humperdinck, Faithfully (Cleopatra) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada)
The 90-years-young singer’s latest studio album finds him revisiting a wide range of classic rock and pop hits with guests including Rick Wakeman (“Beth”), Jonathan Cain and Kevin Eknes (“Faithfully”), Al DiMeola (“Take My Breath Away”), Harvey Mandel (“I Was Made for Lovin’ You”), Sonny Landreth (“I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”), Ian Anderson and Bob Daisley (“Feel Like Makin’ Love”), and more. Available on CD/digitally (15 tracks) and LP (12 tracks).

Sara Bareilles, Good Grief (Epic) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K. / Amazon Canada)
Confronted with the losses of such good friends as former manager Chad Joseph and Broadway co-star Gavin Creel in recent years, Sara Bareilles has channeled her pain into art with Good Grief, a new album-length meditation on grief and loss. It’s her first album since 2019, and one tempered with humor and hope as well as catharsis. Brandi Carlile guests on “Salt Then Sour Then Sweet.” Available on CD, LP, and digitally.
