Runs in the Family, from TSD and Cherry Red’s Lemon Recordings imprint, is the first-ever albums collection from the genre-bending trio of Maggie, Suzzy, and Terre Roche, a.k.a. The Roches. The set features the sisters’ debut The Roches (1979) produced by King Crimson legend Robert Fripp; Nurds (1980) produced by Simon and Garfunkel collaborator Roy Halee; Keep On Doing, also with Fripp (1982); Another World (1985) with productions by Richard Gottehrer (“My Boyfriend’s Back,” “I Want Candy”), Edd Kalehoff (the themes to The Price Is Right, Double Dare), and others; and Can We Go Home Now (1995), helmed by the group and Stewart Lerman (Lady Gaga, Marshall Crenshaw). Each album has its own sonic identity, with the sisters’ distinctive harmonies and personal songwriting always at the fore. Let Me Entertain You: On the Road with Davy boasts two dozen concert recordings from the late Davy Jones spanning 1979-2003 from venues in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan. The set features his live interpretations of Monkees songs both expected (“Daydream Believer,” “I Wanna Be Free,” “Valleri,” “A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You”) and somewhat less expected (“Papa Gene’s Blues,” “Listen to the Band,” “(I’m Not Your) Steppin’ Stone”) as well as solo classics (The Brady Bunch favorite “Girl,” Peter Skellern’s “You’re a Lady”), a ballad from the Dolenz, Jones, Boyce, and Hart years (“You and I”) and plenty of covers from the likes of Harry Nilsson, Van Morrison, Chris deBurgh, Robbie Williams, Ian Dury and The Blockheads, Paul Young, and others. This deluxe collection includes a 24-page full-color booklet with liner notes by TSD’s own Joe Marchese, drawing on archival quotes from Jones as well as a new interview with his longtime band member Aviva Maloney. The 1976 album featuring Manfred Mann’s hit rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s “Blinded by the Light” is reissued with a bonus disc featuring live recordings from 1976 and 2025 as well as a handful of additional rarities. Both discs are housed in a book-style package.

Music on CD reissues this 2010 budget box collecting The Walker Brothers’ final three LPs: 1974’s No Regrets, 1976’s Lines, and 1978’s Nite Flights – the latter of which, in particular, set the stage for Scott Walker’s further sonic adventures in striking fashion.
