Cherry Red’s Morello imprint continues to re-present the best of American country music, and now the label has recently looked back to the 1980s and 1990s for a pair of releases. Oklahoma-born singer-songwriter Gail Davies was born into a musical family. Her father, Tex Dickerson, was a country singer.
