Fleetwood Mac, 50 Years: Don't Stop (Warner Bros./Rhino)
In celebration of its 50 years, Fleetwood Mac is issuing a new career-spanning collection featuring 50 songs on either 3 CDs or 5 LPs. These include hits, favorites, and a smattering of rarities such as the CD premiere of 2013's "Sad Angel" from the digital release Extended Play. A 1-CD distillation includes 20 tracks. Kate Bush, Vinyl Boxes 1 & 2 / CD Box 1 (Parlophone)
Kate Bush's complete albums discography - plus a smattering of rarities - are coming to CD and vinyl in two waves of releases. The vinyl albums - comprising all ten of the artist's studio albums - will be released in four separate box sets. The first two, the 4-LP Vinyl Box 1 and the 3-LP Vinyl Box 2, are out today. The concluding pair, the 6-LP Vinyl Box 3 and 4-LP Vinyl Box 4, will be released on November 30. Vinyl Box 4 exclusively consists of rare tracks, with one LP of 12-inch mixes, two LPs of singles and B-sides, and a fourth of Kate's interpretation of other songwriters' compositions. As for the compact disc configurations, CD Box 1 (7 discs) arrives today, with Box 2 coming November 30. All of the individual studio albums will be available as standalone CDs. Voodoo Lounge Uncut marks the first release of The Rolling Stones' full November 25, 1994 concert in Miami, featuring special guests Bo Diddley, Robert Cray, and Sheryl Crow. Video configurations also feature five bonus songs from New Jersey in August, 1994. Rolling Stones, Beggars Banquet: 50th Anniversary Edition (ABKCO)
For its 50th anniversary, the classic Stones album has been transferred from the original tapes to DSD, and freshly remastered by Bob Ludwig. Featuring "Street Fighting Man" and "Sympathy for the Devil," Beggars Banquet will be reissued as a straightforward CD remaster and an expanded vinyl edition. The vinyl release will add a bonus 12-inch disk of "Sympathy for the Devil" with its original mono mix on Side One and an etching of the album's original "toilet" cover on Side Two. ("Sympathy" was the only track from the album to have been mixed in true mono.) The box also includes a replica of a Japanese flexidisc containing a phone interview with Mick Jagger, as featured within original Japanese pressings of the LP. Yes, that's not all! Following his successful Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison projects, Nick Patrick teamed once more with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for this reinterpretation of Buddy Holly's hits including "Peggy Sue," "It Doesn't Matter Anymore," "That'll Be the Day," and the title track. Surprisingly, this title is currently only receiving a digital release in the U.S. and not available at all from Amazon Canada (which doesn't offer digital downloads), but is available on CD from Amazon U.K. at the above link.
Rush, Hemispheres: 40th Anniversary Edition [Various Formats] (UMe/Anthem)
The 1978 album Hemispheres from Canadian rock heroes Rush celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and UMe/Anthem is not letting the occasion go unnoticed. The classic LP is being reissued on November 16 in a variety of formats including a 2CD/1BD/3LP Super Deluxe Edition, standalone 3LP and 2CD Deluxe Editions, and a Deluxe Digital Edition. Craft Recordings brings together five Cuban jam sessions first released between 1956-1965 by the country's first independent record label, Panart. This 5-CD or 5-LP set presents all of the jams in their entirety, featuring pianist Julio Gutierrez, tres player Nino Rivera, flautist Jose Fajardo, and bassist and mambo pioneer Israel Cachao Lopez. The CD version has a 96-page booklet while the LP iteration, presented on 180-gram vinyl, has a 28-page booklet. Also available digitally.

Chris Cornell, Chris Cornell [Various Formats]
Last year, the world lost one of the greatest voices and songwriters of modern times: Chris Cornell. From his work in Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Audioslave, and his solo career, Chris's music defined a generation of rock music. Today, UMe releases a new collection that celebrates his legacy of song. Entitled Chris Cornell, the set comes in a variety of configurations: 1-CD distillation, 2-LP, 4-CD, and super deluxe 4-CD/1-DVD/7-LP. There will also be digital versions of the standard and deluxe sets. Lee Michaels, Nice Day for Something / Tailface (Manifesto)
Manifesto has two CD premieres from Lee Michaels' Columbia Records tenure: his 1973 Nice Day for Something, and 1974's Tailface. These titles, remastered by Bill Inglot and Dave Schultz, are housed in gatefold digipaks with original art elements. They continue the story told by Manifesto in the label's 2015 box set containing all of Michaels' A&M albums. Other than his 1982 self-released Absolute Lee, the A&M and Columbia albums represent his total discography.
