"Ladies and Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones..." Those are the exciting words that have let audiences worldwide know they're in for a night of exciting rock and roll. Though The Rolling Stones wrapped up their No Filter Tour in July, fans of live Stones will have good reason to be happy this fall, as a concert from 1994 is finally released in full as Voodoo Lounge Uncut.

In recent years, Universal Music and Eagle Rock Entertainment have shone a light on rare and previously unreleased concerts from across the group's legendary career. Now, the spotlight is on The Rolling Stones' Voodoo Lounge Tour, with the upcoming release of Voodoo Lounge Uncut. The sets mark the first release of the full November 25, 1994 concert at Miami's Joe Robbie Stadium, and -- on the video configurations -- also feature bonus songs from an earlier stop on the tour. Voodoo Lounge Uncut will be released across many different formats on November 16, including DVD/2-CD, Blu-ray/2-CD, 3-LP (including exclusive colored vinyl variant), stand-alone Blu-ray, stand-alone DVD, digital audio, digital video, and HD digital audio.

The 1994-1995 Voodoo Lounge Tour saw The Rolling Stones wholeheartedly protecting their title as arena rock giants, as they trekked across the world in support of the Voodoo Lounge LP. Each show was a grand affair, with elaborate, cutting-edge stage elements and setlists sporting big hits, deep cuts, and new tracks alike. The Miami show as made even more remarkable with the inclusion of special guests Robert Cray on "Stop Breaking Down," Sheryl Crow on "Live With Me," and Bo Diddley on "Who Do You Love?"

Also in attendance was a film crew who documented the proceedings for an edited pay-per-view special, which was eventually released on LaserDisc, VHS, and DVD. On Voodoo Lounge Uncut, the concert is finally presented unedited, as-played--boasting ten extra songs that weren't part of the special. Notably, the Blu-Ray and DVD include five additional songs from an August 15, 1994 show at New Jersey's Giants Stadium, that were not performed at the later Miami gig. All the components of Voodoo Lounge Uncut have been newly restored and remastered to ensure better quality than ever.

Voodoo Lounge Uncut arrives in DVD, Blu-ray, DVD/2-CD, Blu-Ray/2-CD, 3-LP, digital video, digital audio, and HD digital audio configurations on November 16. Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones' official online shop is offering an exclusive 3-disc red vinyl version. Check out all the pre-order links and a full track listing below.

Sam Stone

Sam Stone has been obsessed with catalog music ever since his folks gave him a Contours best-of collection for his fourth birthday. He quickly began to learn all he could about rock and roll history and beyond, a passion that continues to this day. Sam followed his love for music to the classroom, earning a B.A. from Towson University in Electronic Media and Film, concentrating on radio and audio production, as well as an M.A. in Audio Arts from Syracuse University. He has put his knowledge and skills to work at prominent reissue labels and is excited to bring his perspectives on catalog music to a broader audience. When he’s not writing for The Second Disc, Sam can be found researching about music, talking about Joni Mitchell’s career, and adding another box set to his Amazon wish list.

Maybe I am in the minority, but why can't there be a 2 CD only version? If I watch a concert DVD more than once it's a miracle.
