John Entwistle’s solo material – between and after his time as founding bassist of The Who – will be compiled into a new box set from Edsel. The Ox, due May 10, collects six of his solo albums – Smash Your Head Against the Wall (1971), Whistle Rymes (1972), Rigor Mortis Sets In (1973), Mad Dog (1975), Too Late the Hero (1981) and The Rock (1996) – along with 29 previously released bonus tracks, including demos, B-sides and other rarities. Last fall, Eagles embarked on their Long Goodbye tour.
