The Legacy Collection: The Aristocats (Walt Disney Records) (Amazon U.S. / Amazon U.K.)

This Legacy Collection release of The Aristocats marks the first time that a full soundtrack to the 1970 animated classic has been released in the United States, and the first complete presentation anywhere.  The first disc has 35 tracks including score by George Bruns and songs by The Sherman Brothers, Terry Gilkyson, and Floyd Huddleston and Al Rinker.  Performers include Phil Harris and Maurice Chevalier.  The second disc has a selection of demos by Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman and Lost Chords performances, plus the vocal tracks from the original studio cast recording featuring Robie Lester, The Mike Sammes Singers and the film's Phil Harris.  Wow!
