Demon's 2022 lineup for the fifteenth annual RSD event has an impressive array of classic rock, soul, and pop from such artists as Donna Summer, Belinda Carlisle, T. Rex, Suede, Del Shannon (with a little help from Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne!), Pixies, Ace of Base, and Simple Minds, plus rarities from the archives of the BBC and Chi-Sound Records.

Various Artists, The Best of Chi-Sound Records
The Chicago label produced some of the great soul artists of the late '70s and became a new home for the legendary 'Duke of Earl', Gene Chandler, whose disco-era classic 'Get Down' tore-up the dancefloors around the world. Other notable signings for the Chicago label included The Chi-Lites, Manchild (featuring a young Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds), The Impressions, Sydney Joe Qualls, The Dells and Magnum Force. This is the first Chi-Sound Records collection in more than 20 years and is pressed as a 180g Blue Vinyl 2LP set. Limited to 2,500 copies worldwide.
T. Rex, The Slider
50th Anniversary of this classic album. Originally released in July 1972 at the height of what the press dubbed "T. Rextasy", "The Slider" album saw Marc Bolan and T. Rex at their peak. Contains the number 1 hit singles "Metal Guru" and "Telegram Sam". UK picture disc release. Unavailable in North America.
Suede, Sci-Fi Lullabies
25th Anniversary 3LP Edition. Pressed on 3 x 180g clear vinyl. Originally released in 1997, this was the band's definitive B-sides collection. This unique compilation collects B-sides of the singles released from the albums Suede, Dog Man Star and Coming Up. Unavailable in North America.
Belinda Carlisle, Heaven On Earth Tour
Recorded live on Belinda's Heaven On Earth 30th Anniversary Tour in 2017. Celebrating 35 years of Belinda as a solo artist, this 2 LP set includes every song from "Heaven On Earth" plus other big hits like "Leave A Light On", "Runaway Horses" and "Summer Rain". First ever release. Pressed on 2x 180g blue vinyl. Limited to 2,000 copies worldwide.
Echo & The Bunnymen, B-Sides & Live
Previously only available as a digital release, B-Sides & Live (2001-2005) brings together rare recordings by post-punk legends Echo & the Bunnymen. Stand out tracks include acoustic versions of 'Make Me Shine' and 'Nothing Lasts Forever' along with recordings of 'Killing Moon' and 'Lips Like Sugar' from Reading Festival in 2005. Simple Minds, 5x5 Live
Formed in Glasgow in 1977, Simple Minds are one of the U.K.'s most successful bands, having achieved critical acclaim and a number of chart-topping albums. First released in 2012, 5x5 Live is a live album recorded across Europe, featuring recordings of five songs from each of the band's first five albums as well as a selection of bonus tracks. Highlights include performances of classic songs including 'Someone Somewhere In Summertime', 'Glittering Prize' and 'Theme For Great Cities'. The complete album is now released on vinyl for the first time, pressed on three 180g red, white and blue vinyl exclusively for Record Store Day 2022. Limited to 2,000 copies worldwide.
Bernard Butler, People Move On
Ex-London Suede guitarist Bernard Butler released his first solo album People Move On in 1998, to great critical acclaim and commercial success. This set uniquely collects the non-album B-sides of the singles released from People Move On, plus the 2021 re-vocalled versions from the People Move On project. Issued on vinyl for the first time. Pressed on 2x180 g white vinyl. Limited to 3,000 copies worldwide.
The Sound, Counting The Days
Formed in south London in 1979, the Sound were an English post-punk band fronted by singer-songwriter Adrian Borland. Whilst the Sound may never have matched the commercial success of their peers, the group are frequently hailed as one of the greatest bands of the 1980s and have a cult following to this day. Issued in 1986, Counting The Days was the sole compilation released during the band's years together and gathers together tracks from their acclaimed releases Shock of Daylight, Heads And Hearts and In The Hothouse. The complete collection is now issued on vinyl for the very first time, pressed on two 180g clear vinyl. Limited to 2,500 copies worldwide.

This newly mastered vinyl Picture Disc LP celebrates the album's 40th Anniversary. Limited to 3,500 copies worldwide.
Ace Of Base, All That She Wants
'Double Groove' 12" Picture disc with three tracks. 30th Anniversary edition of the original single release. Number 1 in both the UK and US charts, and in thirteen other countries. The 'Double Groove' Side A features the Radio Edit and the "Bhangra Version." Side B features the extended 12" version. The sleeve has a die-cut front cover revealing the picture disc, with band portraits on the two sides. Unavailable in North America.
Simon Fowler & Oscar Harrison, Live On the Riverboat
180g Translucent Blue Vinyl. First time on vinyl. Previously only available on CD as part of a limited-3,000 run for the fan club. Recorded on 1/11/02 at Renfrew Ferry, Glasgow and features Simon and Oscar of the band. Stripped down versions of classic tracks 'So Low', 'Travellers Tune', Profit In Peace', The Day We Caught The Train and The Circle'. Includes wo brand new bonus tracks 'The Fortress' and 'Argyle Street.' Unavailable in North America.
Del Shannon, Rock On!
First vinyl reissue since the album's original release in 1991. Pressed on 180g red vinyl, inner sleeve features all the lyrics and credits. Rock On! was Del Shannon's last album recorded before he sadly passed away. The album was produced and co-written by two of the Travelling Wilburys-Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty -and also features Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench from The Heartbreakers. At the time it was rumored that Del was due to take the then recently-deceased Roy Orbison's place in the Travelling Wilburys. This album gives the listener an idea of how that might have sounded. Limited to 2,500 copies worldwide.
Jesus Jones, Scratched: Unreleased Rare Tracks & Remixes
First time on vinyl. Pressed on 2LP, 180g Blue and Yellow Marbled Vinyl. Japanese compilation album originally released in 1993 on CD only, includes a collection of rarities and remixes that are not found on any of the band's studio albums. Exclusives to the RSD release includes two previously unreleased mixes of 'Right Here Right Now' and The Prodigy Versus Jesus Jones mix of 'Zeroes and Ones.' Limited to 2,000 copies worldwide.
Pixies, Live At Coachella 2004
After a decade-long hiatus, alternative rock legends Pixies reunited for a triumphant set at Coachella 2004. Hitting the stage before a headline set by Radiohead, Pixies delivered a now iconic performance packed full of classic tracks including 'Where Is My Mind?', 'Here Comes Your Man' and 'Debaser'. Now released on vinyl for the very first time, this Record Store Day 2022 exclusive features the epic 20-song set pressed on two 140g yellow and orange marbled vinyl with an etching on Side D. Limited to 8,000 copies worldwide.

Rock On was released in 1991 and Del Shannon died already in February 1990, so the album eas released posthumously.
