The Doors & The Pogues!
Joe Mac Pherson says
In the 1980's, 1990's and 2000's, I absolutely remember shopping in record stores like Moby Disc Records, Music Plus, Rhino Records, Tower Records and Virgin Megastore. Like almost everyone else in the stores, we were buying albums on CD- not the vinyl format. Obviously, the Rhino label has completely forgotten, record stores sold millions and millions of CD's. I gave up my record player in 1988 for a CD player and CD's. Even now, I continuously buy music this way.
Once again, too many recordings issued on vinyl; not CD, so I won't purchase any of this.
Bruce Padgett says
All these titles should definitely have equivalent CD releases, if not on the same day as the vinyl, then within a couple of months at most. And please, please, record companies provide those CDs with the same dynamic range and overall sound quality as the LPs. Stop intentionally dumbing down physical digital media!
Sorry for the rant. I love vinyl as well, but truly hate to see the inherent advantage of CDs ignored by the record companies’ overall marketing strategies, particularly regarding the Loudness Wars.

can't wait for yet another live Alice Cooper set (yawn..) ..sorry but i'm still waiting for a proper remaster of "Love it to death" and "Killer" .. the best two albums ever released .. so why aren't they reissued ??
Larry Davis says
RSD is about exclusive vinyl releases, and many of these titles are very cool and limited...this RSD, extremely few are on my wantlist, so on April 18, I will not be doing the overnight wait on line thing...I've noticed that a few of these are vinyl versions of the rarities discs inside recent boxsets like the Replacements, Ramones & Fleetwood Mac, so for me, those are highly redundant...the UK list for me is way more interesting this year, and most retailers don't stock these UK exclusives (except for Rough Trade), so those will be online purchases...
Sam Stone says
It's definitely worth getting in touch with your local shop about UK products. I've had great luck in the past getting ex-US titles after letting them know the ones I'm interested in, so it's worth letting them know!
