Long before he was serenading fans with his expressive, distinctively smoky voice as a modern-day crooner, Steve Tyrell was moving and shaking behind the scenes at Scepter Records.  When not producing singles for Maxine Brown, The Shirelles, Chuck Jackson, or B.J.
