The packaging for this new vinyl reissue has been lovingly redesigned using the original prints, materials, and photographs. The music has been remastered from the original analog master tapes by Grammy-winning sound engineer, Pete

Tune In, Turn On, Drop Out: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack [Red, Blue, and Green Vinyl]
In 1967, counterculture icon Timothy Leary, his partner Rosemary, and his fellow adventurer Ralph Metzner created a film called Tune In, Turn On, Drop Out. The film presumably documents an LSD trip undertaken by Metzner, although the film rarely, if ever, showed in theaters so the jury's out on the content. Nevertheless, Mercury Records released a soundtrack, also entitled Tune In, Turn On, Drop Out. Not to be confused with the spoken word album of the same name that arrived on the ESP-Disk
Mahoney's Last Stand [Green Vinyl]
Mahoney's Last Stand was Ron Wood and Ronnie Lane's soundtrack to the film of the same name. Though the film and its soundtrack were produced in 1972--Wood and Lane cut the tracks in between sessions for Ooh La La--neither production saw the light of day until 1976. The film was a flop but the star power of the soundtrack have afforded it a cult following in the decades since. The sessions were produced by Glyn Johns and feature Pete Townshend on guitar and electronics, plus session

But also key to its success and longevity is its remarkable soundtrack. As director Richard Curtis put it: "Without its music, Love Actually wouldn't work at all. I know--because I saw the film without the music, and it's a

For the Broadway fan on your holiday list this year we thought we would take a look at a couple of vinyl cast albums recently released by Ghostlight Records: In The Heights and Be More Chill. Happily, Rhino Records is rectifying that with the February 1 release on CD, LP, and digital platforms of Live in Hollywood from the legendary songstress. Gone So Fast: Omnivore Brings Unicorn's Lost, Gilmour-Produced Folk-Rock Gems to CD, LP, and Digital
The '70s folk-rock group Unicorn released three albums for EMI during the decade. The recordings were produced by Pink Floyd's David Gilmour and highlighted the band's talent for laid-back folk-rock. Their smooth, Eagles-like sound, Crosby & Nash-esque harmonies, and slick, professional production value could have won them critical acclaim, but history has largely forgotten their lush original material. (Cherry Red's Esoteric imprint has recently taken a look at their core discography.)
